Department Overview:

The Technical Intelligence Department is at the forefront of delivering essential engineering analyses that enhance warfighter operations in challenging environments. Our work involves close collaboration with the United States Air Force (USAF), United States Space Force (USSF), and other key stakeholders, as well as senior leaders in the Intelligence, Acquisition, and Warfighting sectors. We leverage intelligence assessments to inform our engineering analyses, focusing on adversarial kill chains and emerging threats.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee intricate engineering initiatives aimed at transforming warfighter operations in contested environments.
  • Design and implement digital engineering frameworks for research and development and warfighter applications.
  • Apply Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies to guide project development and execution.
  • Create specialized engineering-level intelligence assessments that provide critical insights into adversary systems, facilitating research, experimentation, prototype development, and operational execution of cyber and electronic warfare solutions.
  • Engage closely with USAF, USSF, and other sponsors, as well as senior leadership in the Intelligence, Acquisition, and Warfighting communities.
  • Conduct experimentation and validation of threat mitigation strategies.
  • Offer technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
  • Effectively communicate technical findings and project updates to stakeholders through comprehensive reports and presentations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years with a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in systems engineering, particularly within defense and intelligence operations.
  • Strong knowledge of digital engineering and MBSE methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
  • Active Top Secret clearance with the capability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
  • This position requires on-site presence five days a week.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Experience collaborating with the United States Air Force (USAF) or United States Space Force (USSF).
  • Familiarity with intelligence assessments and threat analysis.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Knowledge of advanced threat mitigation techniques and technologies.

Clearance Requirements:

This position necessitates a minimum of Top Secret clearance. The hired candidate must obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance within one year of hire.

Work Location:

This role is an on-site position.
