Department Overview:

The Technical Intelligence Department is dedicated to delivering significant engineering analyses that enhance warfighter operations in challenging environments. We achieve this through collaboration with the United States Air Force (USAF), United States Space Force (USSF), and other key stakeholders, as well as senior leaders in the Intelligence, Acquisition, and Warfighting sectors. Our engineering assessments are guided by intelligence evaluations of adversarial capabilities and threats to U.S. operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee intricate engineering initiatives aimed at revolutionizing warfighter operations in contested environments.
  • Design and execute digital engineering frameworks for Research and Development (R&D) and operational applications.
  • Employ Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) techniques to guide project development and implementation.
  • Create specialized engineering-level intelligence evaluations that provide in-depth insights into adversary systems, facilitating research, experimentation, prototype development, and operational execution of cyber and electronic warfare solutions.
  • Engage closely with USAF, USSF, and other sponsors, as well as senior leadership in the Intelligence, Acquisition, and Warfighting domains.
  • Conduct experimentation and validation of threat mitigation strategies.
  • Offer technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
  • Effectively communicate technical findings and project updates to stakeholders through comprehensive reports and presentations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years with a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in systems engineering, particularly within defense and intelligence contexts.
  • Strong grasp of digital engineering principles and MBSE methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
  • Active Top Secret clearance with the capability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
  • This position requires on-site presence five days a week.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Experience collaborating with the United States Air Force (USAF) or United States Space Force (USSF).
  • Familiarity with intelligence evaluations and threat assessments.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Knowledge of advanced threat mitigation techniques and technologies.
