Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinician to join our team at Children's Home of Jefferson County. As a Clinician, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive clinical services to clients and their families, as well as clinical support to program staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and evaluations to determine the needs of clients and their families.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.
  • Provide evidence-based therapies, including individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with program staff to provide clinical support and guidance.
  • Document all treatment efforts and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary staff meetings to discuss new cases and formulate treatment plans.
  • Provide crisis interventions as needed and make referrals to community resources as necessary.
Requirements
  • Licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW or LCSW-R), or Licensed Psychologist.
  • Training or certification in Functional Family Therapy (FFT) or other evidence-based practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
Work Environment

This position requires occasional travel to local schools, conferences, and meetings, as well as moderate travel within the community to provide services in-home and in other community-based settings.

The work environment is office-based, with occasional exposure to inclement weather conditions. The position requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, lift, carry, push/pull, climb, bend, and stoop, as well as perform fine motor skills, read, and type.
