Position Summary:

The Senior Tax Analyst will take charge of all tax-related functions within the organization. This position is pivotal in supporting the tax department by managing Federal income tax, property tax, and sales & use tax across all PURIS locations in the United States. A profound understanding of tax regulations, exceptional analytical capabilities, and the ability to collaborate across various departments are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate internal and external tax audits by supplying required documentation and addressing inquiries.
  • Prepare, process, and uphold all documentation pertinent to the accounting cycle.
  • Ensure the accuracy of records and documents associated with tax reporting and preparation.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of tax policies while assessing managerial processes for compliance.
  • Oversee all tax planning and reporting activities, including the submission of corporate tax returns.
  • Remain informed on all federal, state, and local tax and accounting regulations, advising business leaders on optimal practices.
  • Assist in formulating business and investment strategies aimed at maximizing tax returns.
  • Support the development of new policies and procedures to enhance the collection of tax information from departmental managers.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field is required. (Master's degree in taxation is preferred).
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a tax-related role.
  • Proficient in advanced Microsoft Excel functionalities.
  • Experience with ERP software (Acumatica is preferred).
  • Detail-oriented, collaborative, and capable of meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changes, take initiative, and work independently.
