Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking candidates who can work on-site in Duluth, MN, although we welcome applications from individuals based in any of our listed locations or those who can work remotely for the right fit.

All selected candidates will undergo a mandatory two-week training program in Duluth, MN, and will be required to visit Duluth for 1-2 weeks each quarter.

Primary Duties:

  • Conducting thorough audits of engineering schematics, assembly instructions, and documentation related to non-conformance to ensure all tasks are completed on schedule.
  • Evaluating engineering Bills of Materials and performing physical counts of parts and assemblies in preparation for production.
  • Monitoring action items and ensuring timely completion by responsible parties.
  • Executing tasks or projects as assigned by the Program Manager or their representative.

Required Skills:

  • Mechanical understanding with the ability to interpret basic engineering drawings and assembly instructions (training will be provided).
  • Meticulous attention to detail is essential.
  • Prior experience in auditing is highly advantageous.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or engineering setting is mandatory.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to operate independently.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines, which may necessitate overtime to achieve critical objectives.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in presenting to groups (in-person or via virtual platforms).
  • Proficient in computer applications (Word, Excel, TEAMS, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with Power BI and JIRA is a plus.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Knowledge of aircraft or automotive design and certification processes is preferred.
  • Working familiarity with Jira is desirable.
  • Basic understanding of aircraft systems and structures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exceptional communication abilities.
