Job Description

About the Role:

The Area Supervisor is a key member of the Store Leadership team, responsible for overseeing a specific area of the store and ensuring overall operations run smoothly. This role involves supervising associates, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and executing company operational processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe and secure shopping environment by identifying and addressing potential hazards, enforcing security protocols, and monitoring EAS devices.
  • Ensure excellent customer service by greeting customers, responding to queries, and resolving issues in a professional manner.
  • Represent the Company brand by adhering to dress code, promoting products, and maintaining store appearance.
  • Manage merchandise recovery, sizing, and markdowns to meet company standards.
  • Process inbound deliveries, maintain stockrooms, and assist with inventory management.
  • Supervise associates during opening and closing procedures, provide guidance and training as needed.
  • Conduct Code 50 package inspections and monitor Public View Monitor (PVM) system.
  • Execute all company best practices, prioritize tasks, and maintain productivity.
  • Lead by example, demonstrate integrity, and promote a positive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
