We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Systems Specialist to join our team at Albireo Energy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert-level technical support and services to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- System Commissioning and Troubleshooting: Perform start-up, checking, testing, system diagnostics, and commissioning from system-level controllers to end devices for small to medium-sized new or retrofit projects.
- Preventative and Predictive Maintenance: Perform preventative and predictive maintenance service activities to ensure optimal performance of systems.
- Control System Diagnostics and Repair: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair or replace control components and controls systems, as well as troubleshoot mechanical, HVAC, and electrical issues related to BAS control system operation.
- Complex Control System Understanding: Understand complex control systems, including diagnosing and troubleshooting networking and integration.
- Programming and Software Development: Write, create, load, test, and commission programming software and graphics utilizing various programming languages and software.
- Customer Communication and Training: Communicate with customers upon arrival and before leaving the work site, meet regularly with customers to become familiar with operating problems, and train customers in control systems operations.
- Documentation and Reporting: Complete, compile, and submit job documentation, such as commissioning documentation, punch lists, etc., and mark up controls submittals to capture field changes and discrepancies for engineering to create As-Builts.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Interface with service manager, service project manager, or subcontractors on projects to coordinate activities as required in an ethical and professional manner.
- Technical Recommendations and Sales Support: Assist sales by providing technical recommendations for sales leads and proposals for retrofits, upgrades, and enhancements to existing equipment.
- Extensive Knowledge of Electronic or Digital Controls Systems: Requires extensive knowledge of a variety of electronic or digital controls systems.
- Education and Experience: Vocational school graduate or an Associate's degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning, or similar field, or degree may be offset by two years of experience in servicing electronic and or mechanical systems.
- Technical Skills and Abilities: One to three years of increasingly responsible experience in servicing electronic controls and HVAC equipment, ability to coordinate the work of others on multiple job sites, effective interpersonal skills to represent the company to customers and other outside contacts in an ethical and professional manner, and experience in writing as well as demonstrated understanding of computer programs and software applications related to the HVAC industry.
- Valid Driver's License: Must have a valid driver's license with a clean record.
