Job Overview

M/I Homes is seeking a skilled Email Marketing Specialist to drive interactions via email marketing. This role involves executing and tracking the performance of email web platform marketing campaigns, working closely with divisions and collaborating with the digital, communications, and design teams to convert marketing campaign concepts into effective email programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ideation, creation, and sending of email marketing messages.
  • Minor coding in HTML, XML, CSS, SQL, to support online marketing projects and campaigns.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Utilizing best practices for email marketing and increasing interactions, including CAN-SPAM compliance, effective subject lines, and knowledge of how emails render across email clients.
  • Creating and maintaining email distribution lists and segments queries.
  • Interacting with division marketing personnel to provide detailed metrics, analysis, and recommendations for all email initiatives.
  • Verifying that all necessary website content is being displayed properly for pages related to email campaigns.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of email marketing experience.
  • Comfortable reading and writing HTML, CSS, XML, and database queries.
  • Ability to adjust ad and email copy to be clear, persuasive, and original.
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing concepts, lead generation, conversion metrics, and online customer acquisition.
  • Must be extremely organized, detailed-oriented, and self-motivated.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage time, and meet aggressive deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to learn new technical applications.
  • Experience in CRM System.
