Role Summary:

As a Testing & Commissioning Engineer, you will be integral to ensuring the operational quality and efficiency of diverse engineering systems. Your responsibilities will encompass the testing, commissioning, and validation of systems and equipment, along with troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring adherence to industry standards and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate commissioning strategies, plans, and outage procedures.
  • Oversee the installation, commissioning, testing, and maintenance of transmission, substation, and distribution apparatus.
  • Design and implement test plans and methodologies.
  • Diagnose and rectify technical challenges.
  • Guarantee compliance with industry regulations and client expectations.
  • Compile comprehensive reports and documentation.
  • Engage with multidisciplinary teams to fulfill project objectives.

Qualifications Required:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in substation testing and commissioning.
  • Proven experience within the power utility sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of HVAC, Control System Design, Mechanical & Electrical systems, electrical apparatus, and substation voltage levels up to 345kV.
  • General understanding of transmission lines, switchyards, substations, and related equipment and materials.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
