Role Summary:

As a Testing & Commissioning Engineer, you will be pivotal in guaranteeing the quality and operational efficiency of diverse engineering systems. Your responsibilities will encompass the testing, commissioning, and validation of systems and equipment, alongside troubleshooting challenges and ensuring adherence to industry standards and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate commissioning strategies, documentation, and outage plans.
  • Install, commission, test, and maintain transmission, substation, and distribution systems.
  • Design and implement test plans and procedures.
  • Diagnose and rectify technical challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and client expectations.
  • Compile comprehensive reports and documentation.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to fulfill project objectives.

Qualifications Required:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in substation testing and commissioning.
  • Background in the power utility sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of HVAC, Control System Design, Mechanical & Electrical systems, electrical apparatus, and substation voltage levels up to 345kV.
  • General understanding of transmission lines, switchyards, substations, and related equipment and materials.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
