Experienced Medical Assistant

A reputable Allergy and Asthma Institute is in search of a dedicated Medical Assistant to enhance our clinical team. This role is ideal for individuals with medical assistant experience, as well as for students seeking practical exposure in a medical setting prior to advancing to medical school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute all administrative tasks efficiently
• Conduct routine clinical procedures to assist healthcare professionals
• Liaise with insurance providers to ensure accurate billing
• Guide patients to examination rooms
• Measure vital signs
• Conduct skin testing
• Engage actively in food allergy treatment protocols
• Observe patients and relay relevant information to medical personnel
• Collaborate with various departments to enhance patient interaction and support our injection clinic

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in healthcare administration or related fields
• Familiarity with electronic medical records; experience with eClinicalWorks is advantageous
• Strong organizational capabilities
• Ability to excel in a dynamic environment
• Proficient understanding of mathematical concepts and measurement units
• Experience in allergy-related care is a plus
• Strong attention to detail is essential
• Punctuality and reliable attendance are expected

This is a full-time position with a work schedule from Monday to Thursday, transitioning to Monday through Friday as the practice expands.
