Job Summary and Responsibilities
As an Orthopedic Trauma Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional, patient-focused care in accordance with departmental standards and state regulations.

Working collaboratively with medical professionals and the care team, you will provide tailored, comprehensive, and compassionate care, adhering to established nursing protocols such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." You will advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization's vision and values to ensure an outstanding patient experience and positive clinical outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate the patient's condition upon admission and during each shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in status.
  • Execute procedures, monitoring, or other tasks as directed by medical providers, ensuring thorough documentation of care in the patient's medical record.
  • Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic responses, and take appropriate actions in case of adverse reactions.
  • Deliver exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, anticipating needs, and resolving issues.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, potential side effects, and follow-up measures, ensuring complete understanding.

Qualifications:
Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date. Candidates must hold a Registered Nurse Diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelor's Degree.
