Job Summary and QualificationsThe primary responsibility of the Pediatric Trauma Program Manager is to oversee, coordinate, and ensure performance improvement for the pediatric trauma population in collaboration with the Pediatric Trauma Medical Director. Key responsibilities include: ensuring compliance with state designation requirements for Pediatric Trauma Centers, providing trauma leadership for community education and quality initiatives, engaging with the Georgia Trauma Care Network Commission, and developing strategic plans for the Pediatric Trauma Program.
The Manager is accountable for the operational performance of trauma care initiatives, ensuring quality care delivery as per established guidelines.
Required Qualifications:- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's Degree preferred (MSN, MBA, MHA, MSHA).
- A minimum of 5 years of nursing experience in critical care or emergency departments.
- At least 5 years of management or advanced practice nursing experience, preferably in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
