Job Description:
As a Senior Systems Integration Engineer, you will be instrumental in delivering streamlined solutions to intricate challenges at General Dynamics Information Technology. Your role will involve customizing state-of-the-art solutions tailored to meet the distinct needs of our clients.
Your expertise in application development will prioritize the end user's experience, while we focus on fostering your professional growth.

The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of software development, systems and enterprise architecture, software engineering, data engineering/management, and effective problem-solving abilities.
In addition to a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation, a successful candidate should demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of operations and their relevant support.

Extensive knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices.
Ability to facilitate and support Scrum events.
Familiarity with technologies such as Windows, Linux, NiFi, Storage, Oracle, Greenplum, Hadoop, HPCC, and Elastic Search.

Support the development of a strategy to help define the program's technical direction, including leading technical planning activities such as roadmap development and systems integration.
Participate in the creation of technical project plans, reports, and contract briefings.
Ensure program documentation, including inventory, licensing, and procurement, is maintained accurately.
Utilize industry/government standards and widely accepted best practices to establish processes and procedures that ensure secure and reliable systems and services.
Assist in identifying and tracking program action items, monitoring ongoing projects and initiatives, coordinating project schedules, and capturing meeting minutes.
Identify programmatic and technical risks, collaborating with teams to address and mitigate these risks.
Assist the program with assessing, documenting, and tracking program requirements.
Work closely with customers and program leadership to set priorities, implement tasks, and deliver compliant outputs that align with project schedules and standards.
Collaborate with a diverse range of customers and contractors, providing technical consultation, meeting coordination, and support for technical briefings.

Demonstrated experience in:
tailoring project management and systems engineering fundamentals in complex environments,
optimizing work processes within the operations and support functions of the systems lifecycle,
providing program coordination support,
effectively communicating (verbally and in writing) across programs and with clients, stakeholders, and other contractors,
managing priorities across multiple projects,
Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio.
Experience validating requirements with cross-functional teams of engineers, data scientists, analysts, and other senior-level technical staff.

The likely salary range for this position is $127,500 - $172,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
