Job Summary

The Manufacturing Technician will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and timeliness of our products. This individual will work closely with the production team to deliver cGMP compliant product, adhering to GSK policies and procedures. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing documentation in line with regulatory, GSK, and departmental requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute operating procedures in accordance with GSK safety and environmental guidelines for the manufacturing facility.
  • Ensure all activities are executed following quality and regulatory standards.
  • Proactively identify and report compliance issues to area supervisor or Quality Assurance.
  • Participate in and support continuous improvements and LEAN initiatives.
  • Represent GSK with the highest level of integrity and professionalism, maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Perform manufacturing/cleaning/sampling/processing steps in coordination with other manufacturing personnel.
  • Handle hazardous waste from production activities to satellite storage areas.
  • Maintain and review training forms and files.
  • Participate in RCA for EHS incident and deviations.
  • Participate in CAPA tasks for safety and quality.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to lift/bend/move objects 20+ lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within a GMP environment.
  • Bachelors degree or some post-secondary education.
  • Knowledge of a controlled, clean environment.
  • Good written and verbal skills.
  • Ability to maintain attention to detail while executing multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing and open office environment.
  • Understanding of weights and volume measurements.
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment.
