Job Description

Oracle is a world leader in cloud solutions, and we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Practice Director to join our Cloud Consulting team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading and delivering large, complex cloud projects, building deep trust with clients, and influencing at the C-level for enterprise organizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage business operations and resources within a functional area of responsibility, including people management and employee engagement.
  • Act as functional Executive Sponsor for complex programs/clients, providing guidance and direction to project teams and clients.
  • Participate in Pursuit teams to influence client executive management and/or partner management in acceptance of Oracle solutions/services.
  • Support Cloud Consulting Practice Manager or Cloud Consulting Practice Director to ensure projects are delivered successfully with an eye on P&L.
  • Oversee the development of client-facing business solutions/offering as required.
  • Resolve highly complex client escalations.
  • Liaise with Quality Assurance Lead to review execution and compliance of QA strategies.
People Development
  • Responsible for a multi-layer hierarchy of resources, ensuring team members are well-equipped to deliver excellent service to clients through coaching, guidance, and mentoring.
  • Deliver on-time performance appraisals, guide career development, and develop training and career plans for project team members and direct reports.
  • Provide strategic leadership for recruiting, staffing complex engagements, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding for the area of responsibility.
Practice Development
  • Uncover opportunities to extend/expand Oracle's footprint in the account.
  • Produce operational/financial metrics and overall business results of practice.
  • Align with Delivery Excellence to drive enablement and adherence to Deployment Approach practices/principles.
  • Lead an initiative or committee team and delegate content creation.
  • Contribute to setting ERP Fusion Cloud Financials Communities of Practice (COP) vision, leveraging SMEs in Oracle technologies.
