Clinical Reception Coordinator Job Summary

The Floating Hospital is seeking a skilled Clinical Reception Coordinator to join our team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing exceptional patient care and administrative support.

About the Role

This role involves:

  • Providing exceptional patient care and administrative support;
  • Meeting and greeting patients;
  • Handling all telephone inquiries and providing information to callers;
  • Taking and relaying messages to the appropriate personnel;
  • DIRECTING VISITORS AND PATIENTS TO THE CORRECT DESTINATION;
  • Answering telephone with the TFH greeting, screening, and directing calls to the appropriate departments and personnel;
  • Confirming patients' appointments, as directed;
  • Scheduling, rescheduling, and canceling appointments;
  • Maintaining the tidiness of the reception and waiting area;
  • Other duties as assigned by managers/directors.

Requirements

  • High School degree or equivalent in training and/or experience;
  • Minimum of one year receptionist/front desk experience;
  • Valid NY state driver's license or non-driver ID/license;
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices;
  • Knowledge/experience of computers and relevant software applications;
  • Great work ethic; Bilingual Spanish speaking required;
  • Initiative; reliable; stress tolerance; attention to detail; verbal and written communication skills.

Compensation

$20 per hour
