**Key Responsibilities:**

* Collaborate with teachers to implement high-quality early childhood programs
* Assist in lesson planning and lead activities that promote learning and development
* Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times
* Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
* Support swim lessons, gym lessons, and field trips
* Communicate effectively with teachers, directors, and parents
* Maintain confidentiality and adhere to state Child Care Licensing requirements

**Requirements:**

* Must be 20 years of age with a High School Diploma or GED and meet one of the following qualifications:

* Vermont Early Childhood Career Ladder Level Three (3) Certificate
* Associate Degree with a major or concentration in Early Childhood, Child or Human Development, Elementary Education or Child and Family Services
* Certificate of Completion from the Registered Child Care Apprenticeship Program
* Child Care Certificate of Completion from the Community College of Vermont
* Successful completion of twenty-one (21) college credits with an Early Childhood or School Age focus
* Ability to pass federal background and state fingerprint checks
