Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiologic Technologist Lead to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for leading a team of technologists and ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of radiologic technologists and provide guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of imaging procedures.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and maintain high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment of patients.
  • Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
  • Provide education and training to staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure continuous improvement in patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Registered Technologist (RT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Computed Tomography (CT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • 5 years of experience in Computerized Tomography (CT) as a CT Technologist.
  • Advanced knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and radiation safety.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
