Railcar Security Specialist

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Secure finished products to railcars for safe transportation.

Environment:

Indoor work (10%) and outdoor work (90%)

Physical Requirements:

Reach, squat, bend from trunk, and carry objects.

Lift and carry supplies of various dimensions and weights.

Climb onto railcars (approximately 3 ft. high) on uneven terrain.

Push and pull different sizes and dimensions of materials.

Operate touch and impact wrenches.

Use an 8 lb. sledge hammer.

Vision:

Normal (correctable) vision.

Personal Protective Equipment:

Required: Steel toe boots with metatarsal protection, hearing protection, protective glasses, harness, lockout lock with lockout board, and hard hats when working outside of the office.

Physical Demand Levels of Work (PDL): Medium

Lifting/Force exertion up to 35 lbs.

Dictionary of Occupational Titles: May perform duties under the following titles:

Work Schedule:

12-Hour rotating shifts

Overtime as needed.
