Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome members and guests upon their arrival and departure, addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have.
  • Promote our 'Judgement Free Zone' by engaging with members on the gym floor, providing assistance, and supporting their fitness journeys while adhering to club policies.
  • Address member issues and escalate to management when necessary.
  • Answer phone calls courteously and assist callers with their questions.
  • Handle membership-related tasks, including sign-ups, updates to contact or billing information, cancellations, and managing unpaid balances.
  • Conduct calls and tours for prospective members, evaluating their membership needs.
  • Process retail transactions accurately and strive to meet sales objectives.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all exercise equipment and amenities, including communal areas and your designated space.
  • Ensure restrooms are clean, stocked, and organized by following the established cleaning schedule.
  • Regularly inspect all areas of the facility, promptly addressing any safety or cleanliness issues.
  • Report maintenance concerns, such as broken equipment or plumbing issues, to management.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred experience of 6-12 months in a customer service role.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Willingness to obtain CPR/AED certification (training provided).
  • Basic proficiency in computer skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and move throughout the facility during shifts.
  • Effective communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Exposure to cleaning chemicals during shifts.
  • Regular cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and facilities.
  • Flexibility to bend and twist to complete tasks.
