Job Title: Senior Project Manager

CPS Solutions, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead our software development projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Work closely with developers and testers to ensure functional designs meet business needs.
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
  • Set and manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
  • Develop and maintain plans, policies, and procedures for all project phases.
  • Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team.
  • Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties.
  • Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
  • Assess the need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitments.
  • Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope and identify potential crises.
  • Build and develop business relationships vital to the success of the project.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in management, business, or a related field.
  • Related professional certification (e.g., PMP, CSM).
  • 5+ years' direct work experience in a project management capacity.
  • Strong familiarity with project management software.
  • Demonstrated experience in personnel management.
  • Technically competent with various software programs.
  • Experience working independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources.
  • Strong agile/scrum development exposure.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products.
  • Able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
  • Customer service skills are an asset.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft tools (MS Excel, Word, PPT, Teams, and Outlook).
