Job Overview

Deerpath Capital Management is seeking an experienced professional to lead our global private wealth distribution efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to penetrate the private wealth channel effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the private wealth channel, including banks, RIAs, fintech platforms, and other relevant organizations.
  • Understand the investment needs of the private wealth channel and develop strategies to effectively communicate our investment strategy to prospective investors.
  • Lead initial presentations to prospective investors and work with senior team members to develop and execute marketing and communication plans.
  • Manage ongoing relationships with investors, including responding to inquiries, due diligence requests, and RFPs in a timely manner.
  • Track and manage the pipeline of prospective investors and coordinate with the investor relations team to ensure timely responses.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience in financial services or consulting, with a focus on outward-facing roles.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience successfully initiating and developing institutional investor relationships and raising capital for private funds, preferably in private credit and/or private equity.
  • Strong understanding of the private equity/credit fundraising process and investor service expectations.
  • Ability to articulate and sell our investment strategy to prospective investors and engage in solutions-oriented discussions.
  • Proven interpersonal communication skills with well-developed presentation skills.
