About the Role

The Retail General Manager at Vuori, Inc. is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the retail sales team and driving business growth. This role requires a strong leader who can foster a positive customer experience, motivate the sales team, and maintain high standards of retail sales and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Experience
    • Work closely with the sales team to ensure each customer receives exceptional service and support.
    • Take ownership of the sales floor and team to ensure customer experience is the top priority.
    • Prepare the fitting rooms, find sizes, and provide knowledgeable feedback to customers on merchandise style and fit.
    • Build lasting relationships with customers by following up on purchases, new product releases, and inviting them to upcoming events.
    • Stay up-to-date on new products and sales trends to share with customers and the team.
  • Business Growth
    • Motivate the sales team to achieve sales goals in a team-based commission environment.
    • Stay informed about new product knowledge in the broader fashion landscape and active-wear industry to serve as an expert for customers.
    • Lead the team in completing projects while maintaining a focus on customer experience.
    • Communicate inventory needs to support business goals.
  • Leadership and Ownership
    • Oversee the processing of all shipments of product and inventory management.
    • Work with the Regional Manager on daily maintenance, sales strategy, community, and team management to ensure the business runs smoothly and successfully.
    • Lead the team in daily maintenance of the store, including restocking product, maintaining visual merchandising, re-ticketing, and cleaning.
    • Utilize utmost responsibility, attention to protocol, and safety standards in closing and opening the store daily.
    • Encourage employees to give 100%, adhere to punctuality, and role responsibilities at all times.
    Requirements
    • Available to work morning and/or evening shifts, 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, with at least one weekend day.
    • Must be a leader in punctuality and attendance, adhering to scheduled shifts.
    • Ability to develop relationships with customers and colleagues.
    • A customer service expert who creates experiences and develops relationships with customers, embracing the social aspect of sales and the ability to positively and proactively handle customer concerns.
    • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to quickly learn new procedures and processes.
    • Strong organizational skills and follow-through skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative.
    • Eager to develop new skills and responsive to feedback.

Base salary ranges from $60,000 to $70,000 annually. Actual base pay offered may vary based on location, skills, experience, and qualifications. This position is eligible for additional compensation in the form of a commission estimated to range from $56,000 to $70,000, depending on factors including store performance.
