We are seeking a skilled Pulmonary Function Technician to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Pulmonary Function Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tests and procedures to assess lung function and diagnose respiratory disorders.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and lung volume measurements
- Conduct arterial blood gas draws and analyze results
- Assist with emergency equipment inventory, ordering, and maintenance
- Provide technical support to other departments, including Cardiology and GI
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of test results
- Registered Cardiopulmonary Technologist (RPFT) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
