About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team at DaVita. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care and support to our patients with end-stage renal disease.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
  • Measure and record vital signs, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup
  • Build long-term relationships with patients and educate them on kidney dialysis-related topics
  • Work collaboratively with a cross-functional team of clinicians, including nurses, dietitians, and social workers

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work a full-time variable schedule with rotating Saturday shifts
  • Comfortable working around blood and needles
  • Physical and mental ability to work long hours on your feet
Preferred Qualifications
  • Healthcare experience, including BONENT certification, Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
