Job Title: Behavioral Health Consultant/Qualified Behavioral Health Professional

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Consultant/Qualified Behavioral Health Professional to join our team at BrightSpring Health Services. As a Behavioral Health Consultant, you will be responsible for providing support to and from Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) in the case management of clinical cases, as well as managing your own day-to-day case management of assigned clinical cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Case Management: Create appropriate programming for clients based on the results from initial and ongoing evaluations, needs of the client, and provide support utilizing best ethical practices.
  • Clinical Requirements: Maintain clinical requirements for client supervision based on the guidelines set forth by the specific insurance company or community mental health organization, as well as the specifications listed within our policies and procedures.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Lead and mentor technicians on individual patient plan implementation and quality of treatment.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Meet with treatment staff, as needed, to help assist in case management and staff continuing training and development.
  • Discretion and Independent Management: Exercise discretion and independent management of client services and supervision of treatment protocols based on our policies and procedures, and in accordance with our organizational philosophy/mission.
  • Treatment Planning: Determine appropriate and effective techniques to be used in implementation of goals of any treatment plans.
  • Client Assessments: Conduct initial and ongoing client assessments, and based on these assessments, design and maintain top-quality treatment programs, which align with our policies/procedures and organizational philosophy/mission.
  • Record Keeping: Oversee and maintain accurate and organized records, client notes, data, and reports for internal and external processes.
  • Parent Training: Encourage and engage parents and/or caretakers in parent training for all relevant treatment techniques.
  • Client Education: Prepare and attend client educational meetings, such as IEPs, and develop treatment recommendations therein.
  • Professional Development: Continue to make sufficient and appropriate progress towards gaining board certification as a Behavior Analyst, as outlined by the Michigan Autism BHT/ABA Services Qualified Providers for Qualified Behavioral Health Professionals (QBHP).
  • Compliance and Confidentiality: Attend all required trainings, conferences, and colloquium to remain in compliance with guidelines set forth within our policies and procedures, and maintain client privacy in accordance with all HIPAA regulations and our policies and procedures manual.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Work cooperatively and courteously with internal staff and outside stakeholders, including school personnel and administration, outside service providers, and any and all other persons whom you may come into contact with.
  • Professionalism: Maintain the highest standards of professionalism in all client and staff interactions.
  • Reporting Structure: Reports directly to the Director of Clinical Operations, the Director of Administrative Operations, and the Clinical or Regional/Territory Director. Reports to supervising BCBAs on case-specific instances.
