Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building, testing, and producing next-generation spacecraft. You will utilize innovative solutions and cutting-edge technology to solve complex manufacturing and engineering problems daily, at both a systems and specialized level. Your expertise will be critical in bridging the gap between production, development, tooling, supply chain, and quality teams, and you will lead production on the assembly line as well as new production introduction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement innovative manufacturing solutions to improve production efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical challenges and product issues.
  • Lead production on the assembly line and new production introduction, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
  • Utilize data-driven decision making to optimize processes and improve factory throughput.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-8 years of professional experience in the aerospace industry.
  • Expertise in SAP or ERP software and systems.
  • Experience in low-rate manufacturing environments and new product introduction.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices and principles.
  • Proficiency in root cause analysis techniques such as Fishbone, Fault Tree, DMAIC, etc.
Work Environment:

This is a 100% onsite role in Redmond, WA. You will spend 75% of your time on the production floor working with technician teams to solve technical blockers, and 25% of your time performing independent development work such as data analysis and improving troubleshooting documentation.
