Hardware Engineer PCBA Manufacturing

At SpaceX, we're pushing the boundaries of innovation and technology. As a Hardware Engineer PCBA Manufacturing, you'll play a critical role in designing, developing, and manufacturing cutting-edge PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) systems for our Starlink satellite constellation.

As a member of our PCBA Manufacturing team, you'll be responsible for owning and managing PCBA processes and products for in-house production. This includes driving processes for volume production of PCBA, managing new product introduction of PCBA assemblies, and tracking schedule, work-in-progress levels, and defect rates of owned products.

You'll work closely with design engineers, process specialists, and other stakeholders to identify trends and opportunities for optimizing product output, quality enhancements, and cost of manufacturability. Your expertise in statistical techniques and methods, such as experiment design, will be invaluable in driving corrective actions and process improvements.

We're looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in mechanical, software, industrial, electrical, or other engineering disciplines. If you have experience in manufacturing process, SMT, accelerated testing, design for reliability, or PCB design and layout, you'll be a great fit for this role.

As a Hardware Engineer PCBA Manufacturing at SpaceX, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting projects, from designing and developing new PCBA systems to optimizing existing processes. You'll be part of a dynamic and collaborative team that's passionate about innovation and pushing the boundaries of what's possible.

Join us at SpaceX and be a part of a team that's changing the world.
