Position Available: Field Service Technician

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, day shift

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify the root cause of equipment failures, adhering to established protocols.
  • Execute high-quality repairs on machinery components in the field.
  • Restore and repair equipment and its components as necessary.
  • Organize and strategize the methods and sequence for performing assigned repairs.
  • Pre-order all necessary parts and materials to complete repairs.
  • Carry out repairs safely and effectively.
  • Ensure all repairs meet the required standards for quality and appearance.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Keep accurate records of time, parts, supplies, and external purchases related to repairs.
  • Ensure all documentation is clear and complies with established guidelines.
  • Report daily records from the field, even if not returning to the company each day.
  • Care for shop tools, equipment, and vehicles.
  • Present a professional appearance and maintain personal hygiene, wearing all required personal protective equipment.
  • Communicate with customers and colleagues in a respectful and professional manner.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience as an equipment technician.
  • Ability to work independently in a field environment without direct supervision.
  • Contribute positively to teamwork and collaboration within the branch, especially with parts staff and fellow technicians.
  • Spanish language skills are a plus.
  • A technical school diploma or equivalent experience in mechanical repairs is preferred.
  • Prior experience as a field service technician is advantageous.
  • Must have a clean driving record.
