- Respond to Maintenance Requests: Promptly respond to resident requests for maintenance and repairs, providing timely and effective solutions to ensure resident satisfaction.
- Perform Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular preventative maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure the longevity of our properties.
- Maintain Work Order System: Verify all work orders are completed in a timely manner, ensuring that all maintenance tasks are completed to company standards and resident satisfaction.
- Inspect Properties: Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify areas of concern and ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed to company standards.
- Assist with Emergency Situations: Assist with emergency situations, such as snow removal and inclement weather emergencies, fires, and floods.
- Communicate with Maintenance Leadership: Promptly communicate with maintenance leadership concerning all maintenance issues at the property.
- Observe and Promote Safety: Observe and promote safety and risk management in accordance with local, federal, state, and company rules and regulations.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
- At Least One Year of Experience: In the property management industry or directly related field.
- General Maintenance and Carpentry Skills: Possess general maintenance and carpentry skills.
- Ability to Read, Write, and Understand English: Required.
- Ability to Use General Office Equipment: Use general office equipment, such as telephone, fax machine, printer, copier, and key track system.
- Excellent Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to relate to others and provide exceptional customer service.
- Strong Organizational and Time-Management Skills: Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to Perform Basic Mathematical Functions: Required.
- Ability to Cope with and Defuse Situations: Ability to cope with and defuse situations involving angry or difficult people.
- Ability to Maintain Confidentiality: Required.
- Must Maintain Professional Appearance: Comply with prescribed uniform policy.
- Must Maintain a Valid Driver's License: Clean driving record and current auto insurance required.
- Must Comply with All Safety Requirements: Required.
