About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at Bar Harbor Bank & Trust in Winter Harbor. As a key member of our branch team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building relationships with our customers, and contributing to the success of our bank.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers in identifying their financial needs and recommend additional products and services to meet those needs.
  • Recognize and seize opportunities to make referrals for loans, trusts, investments, insurance, and other exceptional services offered by the bank.
  • Gain an understanding of the banking industry and contribute to meeting branch goals in various categories, including deposits and loans.
  • Build trusting relationships with individuals in the communities we serve.
  • Be an active participant in and advocate for community growth and prosperity.
  • Process transactions for customers in a prompt, efficient, courteous, and professional manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, resolve customer inquiries, and follow through with customers for all inquiries.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows and banking industry.
