Intensive Care Unit Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Intensive Care Unit Nurse to join our team at Providence Little Company Of Mary San Pedro Hospital. As a critical care registered nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medication, and treatment plans, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate - NIH Stroke Scale Training Course upon hire.
- 1 year - Nursing experience.
- National Certification in area of specialty is preferred upon hire
