Job Description:

Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Nurse to join our team at Nurse First. As a PICU Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill children and their families.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill children in the PICU
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medication, and treatment plans
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure informed decision-making and optimal care

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of California
  • 2+ years of experience in Pediatric Intensive Care
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
