Pediatric Intensive Care Unit RN Job Description

We're seeking a skilled Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a PICU RN, you'll provide critical care to pediatric patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and take corrective action when necessary.
  • Collaborate with physicians and specialists to ensure coordinated care.
  • Perform tasks such as changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs.
  • Assist with procedures and life-saving situations.
  • Work effectively in a team environment to provide high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
  • BLS and PALS certifications.
  • 2 years of recent acute care experience.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods, lift equipment, and work in a fast-paced environment.
