We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit Nurse to join our team at a top-ranked children's hospital in San Diego, California. As a Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill children with cardiac conditions.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients with cardiac conditions, including those requiring mechanical ventilation, multiple monitors, and EKG interpretation.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor and manage patients' vital signs, medication, and treatment plans.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Current California RN license in hand or pending with ETA.
- 2 years of CVPICU/CTICU experience leading up to assignment.
- PEDS Cardiac experience - MUST be cardiac trained.
- Heart transplant experience.
- Willing to float between units.
- BLS and PALS certifications.
