About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Commissioning Engineer to join our Life Sciences Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and executing multiple projects, and serving as a subject matter expert on commissioning and consulting projects within various manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage, schedule, and budget assigned projects to ensure timely completion and within budget.
  • Inform project engineers and senior project engineers regarding staff scheduling and provide technical support on capital projects related to construction and renovation of manufacturing and laboratory spaces.
  • Serve as an Owner's Project Manager on new construction and upgrades within the life sciences and related industries.
  • Execute and manage commissioning tasks within time budgeted and maintain relations with existing clients on assigned projects.
  • Support the engineering manager in training and mentoring team members on proper documentation development, field procedures, and equipment usage.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 8 years of experience in engineering or construction/maintenance related experience with a 2-year engineering technology degree.
  • At least 3 years' experience working in or supporting the construction or upgrade of manufacturing or related spaces.
  • EIT or CEM certification preferred.
  • Understanding of FDA and GMP regulated industries is desirable.
  • Hands-on experience of HVAC and/or electrical systems.
  • Must be physically fit and capable of lifting at least 30 pounds and climbing ladders.
  • Ability to travel to and from various jobsites.
