About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Control Systems Engineer to join our team at Thunderbolt Inc. as an Engineer for Control Technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide complex station control technology and lead project organization for high-voltage projects.
  • Lead your own projects and ensure timely and complete implementation of necessary measures.
  • Develop and plan complex communication infrastructures within remote control and station control technology.
  • Provide technical leadership to skilled workers and technicians during the commissioning of control technology equipment.
  • Independently conduct qualification tests for complex remote control and station control technology.
  • Mentor apprentices and students.
  • Participate in on-call duty for control technology.
Requirements
  • Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering or telecommunications.
  • Thorough knowledge of network communication (Ethernet, TCP/IP).
  • Knowledge of relevant communication standards in control technology (IEC x / IEC 61850).
  • Enjoyment of meticulous and thorough work, as well as handling and clarifying technical issues.
  • Strong negotiation skills when dealing with clients and contractors.
  • Ability to implement, communicate, and organize effectively.
