Surgical Instrument Processing Specialist

Salary: $19-$20.44 Per Hour
We are seeking a dedicated Sterile Processing Technician to contribute to the success of Connected Surgical (CSI), a dynamic organization with a strong national footprint.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surgical instruments and related supplies for minimally invasive procedures in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform essential tasks including decontamination, cleaning, assembly, packaging, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments.
- Collaborate closely with the Surgical Support team to ensure optimal support for minimally invasive surgeries.
Professional Development:
If you are an experienced sterile processing technician without certification, CSI will cover the costs for your study materials and application fees, while providing the necessary hours to achieve certification within six months of your start date.
Employee Benefits:

- Accrual of 10 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) annually, distributed bi-weekly.
Compensation:
- Competitive starting salaries based on education and experience, with hourly pay distributed biweekly. Uncertified technicians earn $19 per hour, while certified technicians (CRCST) earn $20.44 per hour.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sterile processing.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Certification as a Registered Central Sterile Technician (CRCST) or from the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD), or the ability to obtain certification within six months of hire.
- Understanding of aseptic techniques, sterilization processes, infection control standards, and familiarity with medical and surgical terminology.
- Strong communication skills.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
- No weekend or holiday shifts.
- No on-call requirements.
