At LCMC Health, we're seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a CT Scan Technologist, you'll play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and producing accurate diagnostic images.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Prepare patients for CT scans, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Position patients correctly for specific studies, using immobilization techniques as needed.
- Recognize and respond to clinical and emergent problems that may arise during exams.
- Evaluate critical test findings and review anatomic details and abnormalities on scans with radiologists.
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
- Current Radiography certification (ARRT) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologist.
- Current Radiology Technician CT certification (ARRT CT) - Louisiana State Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners (LSRTBE).
