Service Advisor - Automotive

As a Service Advisor at i.g. Burton Auto Group, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to serve as the liaison between our Service Technicians and customers, ensuring that all repair needs are clearly communicated and understood.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet Customers Promptly: Greet service department customers in a courteous and professional manner, setting the tone for a positive experience.
  • Listen and Translate: Listen attentively to customers' concerns and clearly communicate repair needs to our Service Technicians.
  • Inform Customers: Keep customers informed of necessary repairs and recommended maintenance, ensuring they understand the work required on their vehicle.
  • Provide Accurate Estimates: Provide accurate repair and maintenance estimates, ensuring customers understand the costs involved.
  • Adhere to Policies: Adhere to our policies on vehicle care and operation, ensuring customers receive the best possible service.
  • Follow Up: Follow up with customers to ensure they are satisfied with the service provided and address any concerns they may have.
  • Manage Extended Service Contracts: Manage extended service contracts, ensuring customers understand the benefits and terms of these contracts.
  • Inspect Repair Quality: Inspect repair quality to ensure all work is completed to our high standards.
  • Notify Customers: Notify customers when their vehicle is ready for pickup, ensuring they are informed and satisfied.
  • Review and Explain Repairs: Review and explain repairs and associated costs with customers, ensuring they understand the work required.
  • Handle Customer Concerns: Handle minor customer concerns and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Keep Service Manager Informed: Keep our Service Manager informed of all problems and potential problems, ensuring we can provide the best possible service.
Requirements:
  • Dealership Experience: Previous experience in a dealership environment is a plus.
  • Bi-Lingual: Bi-lingual skills are a huge plus, as we strive to provide exceptional service to all customers.
  • Energetic and Go-Getter: You must be an energetic and go-getter, able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Love for Cars: A love for cars and a passion for helping customers with their vehicle needs is essential.
  • Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds: Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds is a plus.
  • Sales Experience: Sales experience is also a plus.
