Role Summary:

  • InfoTree is seeking a skilled Bill of Material Analyst for a fully on-site position.
  • This role involves the creation and upkeep of Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Material Masters to align with production timelines and fulfill internal customer expectations.
  • The analyst will assess and synchronize program needs to ensure that manufacturing data is consistent with our MRP system (SAP), ensuring a seamless flow of materials for both production and procurement that meets client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Planning, and Program Leads to establish and maintain the Manufacturing Bill of Material (MBOM), including necessary modifications for manufacturing efficiency.
  • Oversee and update Part Master data and Product Structure in MRP systems throughout the lifecycle of parts and MBOMs.
  • Implement changes to the MBOM as outlined in approved Engineering Change documents.
  • Collaborate with MPS (Master Production Scheduling) and Production Control to manage effective dates, minimizing inventory levels and reducing excess stock.
  • Define and communicate necessary actions for other departments to integrate Engineering Changes into ongoing material processes.
  • Develop a foundational understanding of standards applicable to MBOM data and unique coding standards needed for specialized processes.
  • Engage in daily activities requiring strong analytical skills to evaluate planning functions, optimize MRP loading, identify improvement opportunities, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in problem-solving efforts with requestors to address discrepancies between their needs and existing records or company policies.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end supply chain to effectively meet customer demands, applying principles and standards related to production planning through MRP/ERP systems.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A university degree with 2 years of experience in supply chain and/or operations, or an Associate's degree with 4 years of experience, or 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong customer focus with effective prioritization skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, fostering collaboration across teams and functions.
  • Self-driven with the capability to research issues, discuss potential solutions, and provide clear rationales supporting your position.
  • Strong analytical skills to review requests and ensure data accuracy and completeness.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Experience with technical/engineering documentation and Engineering Data Management tools.
  • Master Data management experience in an ERP environment, preferably SAP.
  • Background in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, and Manufacturing environments is advantageous.
