Role Overview:
As a Quality Inspector, you will conduct routine inspections to ensure product quality at various production stages. Your responsibilities will include visually inspecting sub-assemblies and high-level assembly products using magnification tools and sampling methods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in root cause analysis as required.
  • Input standardized data into the Global Systems Framework (GSF).
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S principles.
  • Conduct visual inspections of sub-assemblies and high-level assembly products.
  • Communicate issues to supervisors and escalate when necessary.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of a middle school diploma is required.
  • Familiarity with the PCBA manufacturing process (Surface Mount Technology and Backend).
  • At least six months of relevant manufacturing experience is required; one year or more is preferred.
  • Intermediate knowledge of electronic manufacturing standards is advantageous.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
Additional Skills:
  • Strong reading, writing, and mathematical skills are essential.
  • Proficient inspection skills.
  • Understanding of PCBA and high-level assembly product builds.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of company and customer information.
  • Must complete Quality Assurance training and certification within six months of employment.
  • Basic computer skills are necessary, including familiarity with Google Workspace or MS Windows.
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring prolonged sitting or standing.
  • Capable of handling printed circuit boards with precision.
  • Specific vision capabilities are required for using inspection equipment.
Physical Requirements:
  • This role operates in an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment, requiring personal protective equipment.
  • Comfortable working conditions with controlled temperatures and low noise levels.
  • Physical stamina and manual dexterity are essential for using delicate tools and components.
  • Frequent visual inspections using magnifiers and cameras are necessary.
Travel Requirements:
  • Travel is expected to be less than 40%.
