Position Summary:
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer who is passionate about enhancing product quality. The Quality Engineering team within our Industrial Equipment Division is looking to integrate a skilled Electrical Engineer into our high-performing quality team. In this on-site position, you will spearhead Quality Control initiatives and promote continuous enhancements in our industrial welding products.
Your Impact:
- Enhancing Product Quality:
- Drive ongoing improvements for key products.
- Lead initiatives to enhance overall product quality, both on the manufacturing floor and in collaboration with suppliers and customers.
- Investigation and Analysis:
- Act as a quality resource to analyze and resolve electrical product challenges.
- Conduct root cause analysis to address supplier quality concerns and meet quality objectives.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Engage with manufacturing teams to facilitate discussions on electrical components, processes, and assembly.
- Work closely with Sustaining Engineering, Operations, Product Management, and Customer Service teams.
- Collaborate with suppliers and end-users to enhance existing products and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Present analytical findings to cross-functional stakeholders.
Key Qualifications:
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong skills in troubleshooting, compliance testing, documentation, and manufacturing support.
- Familiarity with PCB manufacturing processes.
- Ability to troubleshoot PCBs and comprehend PCB layouts.
- Experience in data collection, monitoring, and analytics.
- Understanding of supplier quality traceability and verification processes.
- Possession or willingness to pursue a Certified Quality Engineer certification or equivalent.
- Teamwork and Communication:
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Self-driven individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude that enables effective navigation through challenges.
- Flexibility: Some travel may be required.
Qualifications:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 1-3 years of relevant industry experience.
- Capability to read and interpret technical electrical drawings and BOM.
