Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Professional 3 to join our team at the Ohio Department of Commerce. This role will provide administrative support to our certification unit, including tasks such as data entry, document management, and communication with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the certification unit, including data entry, document management, and communication with stakeholders.
  • Assist with the processing of applications, including receiving and reviewing documentation, following up with applicants, and entering data into our CRM system.
  • Support the development and implementation of training programs, including continuing education units and county board certifications.
  • Research and analyze certification systems and procedures to identify areas for improvement.
  • Perform secretarial and clerical tasks, including answering phones, handling mail, and maintaining files.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 30 months of experience or 30 months of training in a secretarial or administrative professional field.
  • Or completion of associate core coursework in secretarial science or business office applications from an accredited career school or community college, with 12 months of experience in a secretarial or administrative professional field.
  • Or 12 months of experience as an Administrative Professional 2.
