Job Title: Physician Administrator 3

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Administrator 3 to join our team at the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction. As a key member of our healthcare leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the administration of behavioral health services and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and oversee treatment for behavioral health patients utilizing nationally recognized treatment standards and documenting utilizing an electronic health record system
  • Provide direction and guidance to institutional psychiatrists
  • Manage clinical policy and program development and oversight
  • Perform duties in accordance with scope of practice; ODRC policies, procedures, protocols; and related American Correctional Association standards
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement meetings and activities, including peer reviews
  • Engage in collaborative agreements, as needed
  • Provide direct patient care
  • Share responsibilities of 24-hour off-site on-call as needed
