Job Overview:
We are in search of a skilled Automation Engineer to enhance the verification and validation processes for mobile applications on both Android and iOS platforms. The ideal candidate will engage in a structured product development methodology that adheres to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute testing strategies, including test scripts for mobile applications on iOS and Android, ensuring compliance with industry standards for medical software.
- Establish and implement automation and integration testing methodologies for various components and features.
- Guarantee traceability and adherence of code to software specifications.
- Contribute to the evaluation of existing designs in light of new or modified requirements.
- Create, maintain, and enhance testing documentation, including test plans, protocols, and automated test scripts. Effectively estimate, prioritize, and coordinate testing tasks.
- Engage in the assessment and integration of new tools and testing frameworks for mobile application testing.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proficient in developing and implementing test scripts using programming languages such as C#, C++, Java, and/or Python, with a solid grasp of object-oriented programming principles.
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in diverse software engineering disciplines utilizing various programming techniques.
- Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Git, Jenkins, Appium, Selenium, and other quality assurance instruments.
- Strong understanding of mobile software development environments including Xcode, Android Studio, emulators, and simulators.
- Experience in unit and integration testing as well as automated testing practices.
