Overview:


The Product Insights Analyst plays a crucial role in assisting the Product Manager with both product evaluation and backlog management.

This position is closely aligned with the Product Manager to execute the product vision and roadmap, taking responsibility for converting the vision and roadmap into well-defined User Stories and Acceptance Criteria.

The Product Insights Analyst serves as a bridge between business stakeholders and the Product Management team, ensuring the successful development of new or enhanced functionalities and features by the scrum team.


Responsibilities:
Assists the Product Manager in fulfilling and delivering on product roadmap commitments.

Gathers comprehensive business and functional requirements from various stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs).

Translates business needs into technical specifications, encompassing product features, integrations, and solution templates.

Documents requirements in the form of User Stories to foster a shared understanding with Engineering teams.

Develops, refines, and documents additional Product artifacts (e.g., visual collaboration documents, workflow diagrams, etc.).

Facilitates discussions around requirements using diverse elicitation techniques.


Collaborates with Engineering, Design, and Architecture teams to assist with system design, ensuring that the design aligns with business needs and enhances user experience.

In partnership with the Product Manager, verifies that delivered User Stories satisfy the Epic's definition of done.

Conducts functional testing to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.

Creates, updates, and maintains Product and Release documentation (Release Notes, System Guides, etc.).

Ensures that backlog health aligns with the demands set by Product Leadership.

Acts as the subject matter expert for the assigned system functional area, representing the needs of both internal and external stakeholders.

Ensures adherence to all defined product, development, and service processes, while meeting established operational level agreements (OLAs).

Proactively embraces new tools and collaborates with other teams to identify opportunities for improvement.

Participates in Agile Ceremonies as directed by the Product Manager.

Embodies and promotes Origami Risk's core values (Prioritize Clients' Trust and Success, Innovate with an Entrepreneurial Spirit, Collaborate and Win as a Team).

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in technology, business, liberal arts, science, or engineering.

3-5 years of experience in product analysis or a related field.

Strong analytical and conceptual thinking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

Excellent relationship-building skills, including the capacity to influence stakeholders and scrum team members.

Outstanding communication skills (both verbal and written) across all organizational levels.

Prior experience in Risk Management and/or Property & Casualty Insurance is highly preferred.
