About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Bilingual Programs Operations Manager to join our team at the Community Economic Defense Project (CEDP) in Colorado Springs. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in supporting our programs and services, including eviction and foreclosure prevention, disaster response, and homelessness response.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring their needs are addressed promptly and professionally.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Colorado Springs office, including ordering supplies, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment, and collaborating with building management.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with local organizations, driving community engagement and collaboration throughout the Colorado Springs area.
  • Work closely with CEDP Housing and Tenant Advocates to coordinate and deliver approved financial assistance to eligible households.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, identifying clients' strengths, needs, and barriers, including challenges related to substance misuse, mental health, and housing.
  • Link clients to appropriate community services, such as substance abuse treatment, mental health care, medical services, and vocational training programs.
  • Act as a dedicated advocate for clients, ensuring their rights are upheld and their needs are met in a respectful and dignified manner.
Requirements
  • Bilingual (Spanish & English) proficiency required.
  • Previous experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness, substance misuse, or mental health challenges.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care, harm reduction principles, and evidence-based practices in substance abuse treatment and mental health.
  • Familiarity with community resources, housing programs, and support services for homeless individuals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities to meet deadlines.
  • Empathy, patience, and the ability to remain calm and supportive in challenging situations.
  • Proficiency in documentation and record-keeping.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for home visits and client transportation.
What We Offer
  • Competitive annual salary of $73,000, plus $1,000 hybrid pay differential.
  • Benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and 401k.
  • Technology stipend of $720 per year.
  • Eligibility for a $2,000 per year language differential for employees who utilize two languages or more at work.
How to Apply

Candidates must reside in the Colorado Springs area and be able to work from the CEDP Colorado Springs office Monday through Friday.
