Key Responsibilities


As a
Hotel Housekeeper, your primary responsibility will be to maintain the cleanliness of assigned guest rooms, ensuring that cleanliness standards are upheld while delivering courteous and professional service to all guests.

Your specific responsibilities will include:

  • Keeping a tidy and organized supply cart.
  • Sorting, counting, folding, marking, or transporting linens.
  • Changing linens and making beds.
  • Sweeping, scrubbing, and mopping floors.
  • Dusting furniture and fixtures.
  • Washing walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms.
  • Emptying wastebaskets and transporting trash to disposal areas.
  • Vacuuming rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
  • Moving furniture, hanging and removing drapes, and rolling carpets as necessary.
  • Restocking guest room supplies, such as drinking glasses, bathroom amenities, and writing materials.
  • Ensuring lost and found items are tagged and reported to management.
  • Inspecting rooms for maintenance needs and checking all fixtures, equipment, and room conditions (television, radio, lights, heating/cooling, furniture, wallpaper, etc.) for proper operation and maintenance. Reporting any deficiencies.
  • Cleaning lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways as assigned.
  • Replacing light bulbs as necessary.
  • Deep cleaning all assigned guest rooms and replenishing guest amenities and supplies as required.
  • Completing additional housekeeping services for assigned rooms as needed.

Qualifications

We are in search of a self-driven
Hotel Housekeeper with a strong work ethic and a commitment to exceeding expectations.
Specific qualifications for this role include:

  • Up to 1 month of relevant experience or training in housekeeping
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills
